Then, we´ll go to the Cooking School where you´ll learn how to cook the most popular dishes of Spanish gastronomy, in a small group and with the guidance of expert chefs. You’ll learn to prepare 5 dishes: a starter cold soup called Andalusian Gazpacho, two tapas (chorizo in Asturian cider and Spanish omelette), the traditional Paella and a dessert. During the cooking class you’ll savor an appetizer tasting accompanied with coffee, tea or wine. Then, we’ll enjoy a great lunch to delight in the dishes you have made… Surely are delicious! Youll also get the recipes and the apron as souvenir of this unique and memorable experience.
We will pick you up at the School to take you to the “Valor” Chocolate Museum, located in Villajoyosa (about 5 km. from Benidorm). “Chocolates Valor” is a renowned Spanish chocolate manufacturer, since 1881. It has presence in 45 countries around the world and a great variety of exquisitenesses made with chocolate. So, in the 19th century building, which in those days was the little family factory, you’ll travel through the 500 years of the chocolate history, starting off when cocoa beans were stoneground up until nowadays. You’ll see there the best collections of machinery used in the chocolate making industry as you learn about its origins, the existing varieties of cocoa, its entry into Spain and the tools and machinery has evolved over the years.
