Visit medieval villages
We’ll visit the most beautiful medieval villages in the region such as Séguret, Gigondas , and stop at a winemaker museum in Rasteau. Then we’ll drive up to the top of the mountain for a beautiful view. Don’t forget your sweater!

Soil
Sediments deposited by the seas of the Tertiary period at the base of the limestone massif of Mont Ventoux.
Climate
The Mediterranean climate of the Rhone is locally marked by larger day/night gaps in temperature due to the proximity of the mountain. The mistral wind is bitterly cold and high-speed in winter.
Reds and Rosés: The main grape varieties are Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Mourvèdre and Carignan. Fruity, light and early-drinking reds.
Whites : The varieties are Clairette, Bourboulenc, Grenache Blanc and Russanne. Aromas are iris and acacia flowers and citrus.
